You could be jumping onto the property ladder soon rather than later thanks to the Cavern, our new ready-to-build design. With affordability front and centre, we teamed up with our suppliers and trades when we designed and priced this home, coming up with a generous 4x2 that is big on space and value, even though it has a teeny-tiny price tag.

“By strictly considering all aspects of a home’s construction, we’ve come up with a super-efficient design that really works. It’s ideal for many of those more compact affordable blocks that are usually readily available in Perth’s new estates.”

Super-efficient and stylish to boot, the Cavern offers just under 200sqm of home, with all the essentials for easy family living, including a study or play room, and an open-plan kitchen and living area leading out to an alfresco. As a guide, this home will fit easily onto a block that is 12.5m wide by 25m deep, which means you can get a lot of home on a relatively small lot.

Design Manager Dave Clynk describes the Cavern as a generous home that has been efficiently designed to offer space “where it matters most”, which is good news when you need to focus on the priorities.

“Not only does the Cavern feel roomy inside, but we’ve also been able to maintain a surprisingly spacious outdoor entertaining area on a block of just over 300sqm,” Dave says. “All the minor bedrooms are a good size and it’s easy to zone off the kids’ wing. We’ve also added a computer nook in the living area, which is great if you need to keep an eye on the kids’ computer use or their progress with homework.”

Offering contemporary street appeal, the Cavern’s front elevation includes a wider-than-than-standard front door and a blade wall that can be customised using colour or cladding such as tiles.

“The Cavern can be fine-tuned to suit your needs and your budget, making it an excellent starting point if you are keen to get a foot on the housing ladder,” Dave says.
